For the past three decades Sally has traveled the highways and byways of the world, notebook in hand and camera slung over her shoulder. She has tracked the night-prowling leopard in South Africa, rafted raging rivers, and explored wild caves in Thailand. Where there's a good travel story, this freelance writer/photographer has been there.
Sally is the author of six travel guidebooks and innumerable newspaper and magazine articles. The author and photographer for the SutroMedia app, Santa Fe * The City Different, she keeps updated on New Mexico's hottest art, food and culture spot. She's an expert on the Southwest, Mexico, food and wine, and folk art.
With deep roots in 17th century New England, she has lived in New Jersey, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and currently New Mexico, which she considers her heart's home. She and husband Dick have been married over 50 years, have three adult children, three grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
